Italy and I tell Nisus that I will reward him with subsequent offerings. In addition I claim that I will never seek victory without Nisus and I claim that he’ll have my firmest trust in word and action. What Other Ancient Writers Said About Me:
Livy references me in his work Ab Urbe Condita Book 1 and talks about how I am the son of Aeneas and Lavinia(not Creusa as Vergil claims) and says I was born in
Latium. He says I establish the city of
Alba Longa thirty years after Lavinium was founded. He also mentions that I have a son names Aeneas Silvius.

What Those in the Past 2000 Years Have Added to the Mix:
Unfortunately it seems that I am not a character of interest to many of the modern writers. However a similar figure to me who has many modern works written about him is George W. Bush. Like me he has a famous father who is a leader the country, he then took on this position some time after his father.
John P. Turner wrote an article about George Bush in the American Chronicle in 2005, entitled George Bush’s Political Legacy. In it he describes the various opinions about the President. “There will be those who may suggest GW was a moral man who had a vision for humanity that became unobtainable due to the dark influence of greed and internationally organized corruption, not to mention the temptation of political corruption by those closest to him. And, of course, the liberal left will remember what they call “…the political theft of 2000.” Nor can we soon forget the war over WMDs that could never be found, all of which this author considers as being just one foot print of history leading up to the next.”http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/viewArticle.asp?articleID=3238Natan Sharansky said in wrote in article in 2006 which also described an opinion of the President. “He is a man fired by a deep belief in the universal appeal of freedom, its transformative power, and its critical connection to international peace and stability. Even the fiercest critics of these ideas would surely admit that Mr. Bush has championed them both before and after his re-election, both when he was riding high in the polls and now that his popularity has plummeted, when criticism has come from longstanding opponents and from erstwhile supporters.”http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110008281From the opinions expressed in both the above articles you can see that George W. Bush is a leader similar to myself in many ways. We are both moral and a have a vision for humanity, we also are both interested in the universal appeal of freedom.
