I just wanted to see how you were doing. I am writing to you as a ghost in the after life. I know this may creep you out, as well it should be, but I miss you and your father very much. You must feel guilty for leaving your only mother behind to die... but don't. It wasn't your fault. It was your father's. Please don't tell him that, I don't want him to have it on his conscience. One could say that I died a very painful death, seeing that I was killed by Greek soldiers as my beloved city was burning to the ground. But you are my son and always will be, and I love you forever. Be good to your father and watch out for him, he isn't getting any younger. I know you will become a great warrior some day and will find yourself a nice, pretty lady to marry.
