Sound Off: Hemingway
[This is a sound off written about my views of Ernest Hemingway.]
Of what I read so far of Hemingway, I don’t like him, It’s too boring for me and it always seems like there is a deeper meaning in his stories which I don’t like. Especially in The Snows of Kilimanjaro. I didn’t like the paragraphs in italics, it just made things a lot more confusing than they had to be. The first two weeks of my junior year have been tough. There has been a lot of work but I’m happy to say that I’m keeping up with all of it. I generally like each class but Spanish. Spanish is terrible this year and new Mr. Spanish isn’t making anything better. I can already tell I have a long year in block 8 ahead of me. The class I like the most is physics. Ms. Physics is really cool and I especially like how things are so hands on in her class. We do a lot of activities in class that make the time fly better and things more fun then a boring lecture. Soccer is going pretty well so far, we are 6-1 and we have a game today away at Peddie where we are hoping to get our 7th win. The league is really tough like every year, but I think we are going to do much better in league this year then the past couple years. We have beaten a few good teams out of league so we know we have a good chance to do well the rest of the year
