Jordyn Shaffer . . . Who is she? (About Me)
Welcome to my blog! I expect that right now you might be wondering who is Jordyn and why in the world did she decide to create a blog? Well, you clicked on the correct link to answer these questions. Now that we have formally met, you should know that I am a junior in high school and live in the most densely populated state-New Jersey. From Monday to Friday, I travel across the Ben Franklin Bridge to attend school at William Penn Charter in East Falls, Philadelphia. Throughout these five long days, I give my mother grief since we live in the boring "burbs". The good news is that after of enough nagging, I am moving back to Philadelphia real soon!
On the contrary, I have an obsession with all cities (especially the city of Brotherly Love and the Big Apple). I lived in Philly temporarily and it was pure bliss! I had the option to walk to any restaurant, store, or even a fire hydrant (not that fire hydrants are very appealing)! Admist life and a vibrant culture, when walking down the streets of Philly, I try to take in everything and anything. According to my friend Matt, "I am a pseudo city girl." It is my hope that one day I will have the opportunity to prove him wrong.
Regarding the second question, my fellow peers and I have embarked on a blogging adventure for our English 11 class. My teacher, Mr. Franek, has introduced his pupils to blogging in order for us to learn how to express our thoughts, ideas, and beliefs through an alternative medium. (Check out any of my friends blogs by clicking on any names on my blog roll). It is my hope that you will stay tuned and follow me on my exciting adventure on the web for it has just started.

I graduated PC in 1984, and just opened the Penn Charter Magazine to read about you and your classmates’ blogging, which I think is great! As it turns out I am the lead investor in Automattic, the company behind Wordpress, and I was delighted to see PC using Wordpress for its blogs.
